报告人简介


刘俊治博士于2008年获得材料化学学士学位,并于2011年获得材料学硕士学位;2011-2015年于德国马普高分子研究所获得博士学位(导师为Klaus Müllen教授)。20157-20176月,德累斯顿工业大学博士后(导师为Xinliang Feng 教授);20177-20197月,研究课题组长,德累斯顿工业大学。20198月开始在香港大学化学系并依托合成化学国家重点实验室开展独立研究工作。


在过去4年中,代表性论文分别发表在国际著名期刊Science (1), J. Am. Chem. Soc. (10)Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (4)Adv. Mater. (1)Chem. Sci. (1)Org. Lett. (1) 等,世界专利1篇,书籍1章。其中4篇入选ESI高引论文, 论文总引用次数900余次,H-index 13,担任Nature Chem., Nature Comm., J. Am. Chem.Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Sci., Org. Lett. 等国际期刊的审稿人,在国际会议上发表16次口头/邀请报告。刘俊治博士于2017年荣获国际纯粹与应用化学联合会(IUPAC)国际青年化学家奖(Honorable Mention Award),2015年度国家优秀自费留学生奖,2011-2014年欧盟玛丽居里(Marie-Curie)奖学金等。自2020年起,刘俊治博士担任《亚洲化学杂志》(Chemistry An Asian Journal) 的青年顾问编委 (Early Career Advisory Board)


报告内容简介


In the past three decades, nanometre sized allotropes of carbon, or nanocarbons, have emerged that have completely changed the landscape of carbon-based materials, and their discovery has opened doors to new technologies. The importance of these elegant carbon structures were recognized by the Nobel Prize being awarded in 1996 in Chemistry and in 2010 in Physics for the discovery of fullerene and  graphene, respectively. Many nanocarbon structures have been theoretically predicted but are yet to be synthesized. Thus, exciting developments in this area are expected. Organic synthesis (bottom-up construction) is a promising approach to achieving precise nanocarbons with atomic design. In this abstract, I describe the rationale for using organic chemistry for precise curved nanocarbon synthesis from pi-conjugated molecules to polymers, such as curved anti-aromatic, bowl-shaped aromatic, saddle-shaped diradicaloid and wavy-shaped tetraradicaloid, as well as curved graphene nanoribbons, demonstrated not only control of the geometry but also the aromaticity of the carbon nanostructures, and introduce the synthetic approaches and outline the unresolved challenges in this field. In addition to carbon nanotubes (CNTs) and grapheme nanoribbons (GNRs), curved nanocarbons are promising next-generation carbon materials. The curved nanocarbons structure has important ramifications on the inherent physical behaviour of these materials. These molecules and the understanding of their properties inform and provide a counterpoint to studies on flat nanocarbons.
